Adrienne Lance Lucas

The Founder and President of Lance Lucas & Associates, LLC, (LLA). A former executive management consultant with over 20 years experience serving fortune 500 companies, Lance Lucas began her career in her home state of Minnesota as a financial analyst for General Mills, Inc. (GMI). While there she advanced quickly and gained valuable experience in marketing, sales and corporate finance, and earned a reputation for being a solid manager and exceptional developer of people. In 1993, Lance Lucas received the coveted Chairman’s award for customer service for her work in reengineering the administrative functions within National Sales Division.

Upon leaving GMI, Lance Lucas attended the Harvard Business School (HBS) and earned a Masters in Business Administration (MBA). During her matriculation she took time to make a difference in her surrounding community by becoming a volunteer with a social enterprise called Working

Capital. Little did she know that this experience would be the impetus for her wanting to utilize her hard technical skills for good in the not for profit world. This experience was a major catalyst in her eventually forming LLA.Lance

Lucas was formally trained as an executive management consultant at CSC Index during the reengineering business revolution of the mid 1990’s. As a Senior Manager in the financial services and utilities practices, she enjoyed helping clients domestically and abroad compete in newly deregulated environments and restructure lackluster groups into high-performance teams responsible for increased productivity and profitability.

Lance Lucas has enjoyed a rich professional career as a consultant and as an entrepreneur. As Principal & COO of a private equity commercial real estate fund she contributed to the firm taking it from a start up to over $200 Million in managed assets.

She graduated cum laude from Spelman College with a B.A. in economics and an MBA from Harvard University and serves both institutions in a fundraising capacity. An active member of Elizabeth Baptist Church (EBC), Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and Jack & Jill of America, Inc., Adrienne most recently, launched Kid Entrepreneurs Need Opportunities (KENO) Foundation, Inc., the only micro-fund for youth ages 13-25.
