Marking nearly 25 years of community impact, Monica has driven innovative strategic initiatives for the corporate and non-profit sectors including UPS, Bank of America, Mohawk Industries, the NAACP, UNCF, NAFEO,  TMCF and Wiley College.  

Best known for her thought leadership in strategic philanthropy and her ability to  influence through creative communication, Monica has driven more than  $100,000,000 to social justice and HBCU platforms. Her groundbreaking work  establishing three proprietary student/parent platforms with diverse constituents has  touched over 125,000 students, international entertainment industry movers and  shakers and best reflects her ability to develop and market an idea from conception  through sustainable implementation.  

Her leadership roles as National Director and Vice President set the

stage for  advancing her skill set into an arena of endless opportunities. Her consulting  opportunities have spanned roles including Executive Director, COO and Senior  Consultant to a broad spectrum of clients, including MC Lyte, Kenny Lattimore,  celebrity chef G. Garvin and Sheryl Underwood. She has also maintained a strategic base of clients including colleges, small businesses, private foundations and the United  Way. 

Holding a Bachelor of Arts degree, Monica is a proud graduate of Spelman College.  She is certified as an expert in Philanthropy and Education for TV, Print and Radio through  the NewsCertified Exchange, and in Diversity in the Workplace through the University of  South Florida. She is a graduate of Leadership North Carolina and the American  Express Non-Profit Leadership Academy and serves as a member of the Florida  Statewide United Way Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.  

Her commitment to philanthropy, the health and wellness of diverse communities  through sustainable solutions and the education of African Americans align her life’s  work and her passion for service. When she isn’t working or volunteering, she enjoys  time with her family and friends, exploring the world and nurturing the next  generation.
